In 2023,  Carl XVI Gustaf celebrated his 50th anniversary as king of Sweden. To mark this historic milestone, the Royal Court commissioned the creation of a commemorative emblem and graphic identity for the jubilee.

The design was required to balance tradition with modernity, celebratory in spirit yet dignified in expression. It needed to embody elegance and authority while remaining welcoming and engaging for both the Swedish public and international audiences.
